England secured a hard-fought 27-run victory over India in the high-scoring third and final One Day International at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. With this result, the host team clinched the three-match series by a 2-1 margin.
After winning the toss, England opted to bat first on a favourable pitch and set a commanding total that ultimately proved just beyond the reach of the visiting Indian side.
