Kolkata Knight Riders produced a top-class bowling performance as they topped Rajasthan Royals to secure their second win of IPL 2020. Pat Cummins drew the first blood before young Indian duo of Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti ran down the order. Former Australia cricketer Brad Hogg, meanwhile, praised Cummins saying that he reduced Steve Smith to a lower-order batsman.
Cummins; who is the highest-paid overseas cricketer, had a woeful start to his IPL 2020 campaign. The Mumbai Indians batters took him for cleaners as he looked tired after a long series against England. But Pat Cummins made a strong comeback to lead Kolkata Knight Riders bowling pack.

Especially, he was brilliant with the new ball against Rajasthan Royals which completely trembled their batting order. Brad Hogg attributed Kolkata’s comprehensive victory to Pat Cummins’ breathtaking opening spell. He also added that the fast bowler is living up to his price tag.

The Knight Riders will face Delhi Capitals next on October 3 (Saturday).
