Kolkata Knight Riders are playing Sunrisers Hyderabad in a crucial match in Abu Dhabi where they are batting first after losing the toss. KKR have made a few changes in the playing XI keeping the conditions in mind and so have SRH. Kuldeep Yadav and Lockie Ferguson are playing this game for Kolkata.
Meanwhile, Basil Thampi replaces Khaleel Ahmed to add pace to the SRH bowling line-up. Meanwhile, KKR skipper Eoin Morgan revealed the reason why Sunil Narine is not playing the game despite being available for selection.
The IPL’s Suspect Bowling Action Committee cleared Sunil Narine’s bowling action after a routine check-up. They also have said that Narine will have to bowl with the action with which he has been cleared for the rest of the tournament.
“The Committee also noted that Mr. Narine should reproduce the same action going forward in the IPL 2020 matches as presented to the Committee in the video footage. Mr. Narine has now been removed from the IPL Suspect Action Warning List,” added the release.

Eoin Morgan Clarifies Sunil Narine’s Exclusion From Playing XI vs SRH
Meanwhile, Morgan revealed the reason why Narine was not a part of the playing XI for this game. The KKR mystery spinner was reported of suspect bowling action after Kolkata’s win against Punjab, where Narine bowled the final over to help his team win the game. He bowled KKR to victory against CSK as well a game before the one against Punjab.
“We will have to improve our basics better, we didn’t do that against MI in our last match. Two changes for us – Kuldeep and Lockie in, for Green and Prasidh. We don’t want to rush Sunil back, we’ll give him some time,” Eoin Morgan said during the toss.
Both KKR and SRH are coming into this game after back to back losses in their last two games. Kolkata meanwhile have changed their captain with Dinesh Karthik handing over the captaincy responsibilities to Morgan.
Morgan did not have a good start to his captaincy stint with KKR as he lost his first match against Mumbai Indians. KKR are placed fourth in the points table with eight points from eight games. Meanwhile, Sunrisers are placed on the fifth position with six points.
