Cheteshwar Pujara for all his qualities as a defensive batsman was found second best in the warm-up game against Australia A. After scoring a valiant 54 off 140 balls in the first innings, he was out for a duck in the second innings. he was done by a beauty of a delivery from the Australian pacer which was bowled a lot like former Aussie quick Ryan Harris. India ended their second innings on 189 after the early dismissal of Pujara.
Cricket Australia uploaded the video of Cheteshwar Pujara on their official Twitter handle. The ball pitched on the middle stump and just left him on the angle. The ball just seamed away a fraction beating the back of Pujara and going onto hit the stumps.

All of India’s seasoned Test players had a good outing in the warm-up game. Skipper Ajinkya Rahane hit a century. Cheteshwar Pujara scored 54 in the first innings. Mohammed Siraj and Umesh Yadav picked three wickets each, while R Ashwin picked two. Wriddhiman Saha after scoring a duck in the first innings scored an unbeaten 54 in the second. The return of Virat Kohli in the first Test will make the team look more formidable and complete.

Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara were two top-scorers for India in their last tour down under in 2018-19 While Pujara scored 521 runs, Kohli scored 282. Rishabh Pant too scored over 350 runs in the Test series.
Meanwhile, Kohli will return back home after the first Test on parental leave. He will be with his wife Anushka Sharma, as the two of them are expecting their first child. Meanwhile, the Indian team management is sweating over Kohli’s replacement for the final three Tests.
India A will play another practice match before the four-match Test series commences from December 17. The first Test will be played under lights at the picturesque Adelaide Oval.
