The ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 is heading towards a thrilling end as the knockout stage is all set to commence from January 26 (Tuesday) at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. The eight teams will be taking part in four quarterfinal matches which will be played on January 26 and January 27 while the semifinal and final will take place on January 29 and 31 respectively.
Six group winners and two best runners-up sides have qualified for the knockout stages of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Bihar, Rajasthan, Baroda, and Punjab have qualified as group winners while Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh have made the cut as the two best runners-up.
