Hardik Pandya threw the ball to the keeper Ishan Kishan, the ball forcibly hit Ishan Kishan on his cheek and he was down on the ground for some time.
Pandya looked puzzled on the field for his mistake and Ishan was taken off the field by the officials for a medical emergency. Reserve wicketkeeper Aditya Tare came in place of him till the end of the innings.
In his Twitter handle, Pandya felt sorry for Kishan for this “unfortunate” incident.

Speaking on his injury the skipper Rohit said ” I haven”t checked on Ishan but he seems alright. He”s got a swelling on his right eye but he should recover in a day or go. We”ve got a few days off and that is where we will assess.”
Ishan Kishan played a vital role in the first two matches by hitting bowlers to all the corners of the ground. With his stellar performances, he can make this league a platform to gain his international entry.
Mumbai Indians will face Rajasthan Royals in their next match at Jaipur on April 22.
