The inaugural edition of The Hundred is already living up to the expectations. The game between The London Spirits and Southern Brave witnessed a jaw-dropping one-handed catch by South African-born Quinton de Kock to dismiss Josh Inglis.
The incident took place in the 86th ball of the match. Veteran all-rounder Chris Jordon bowled a slower delivery which Inglis tried to send in the third-man region. He produced a reverse scoop shot which seemed to have gotten enough connection but not enough to go past Quinton De Kock.
The keeper made a full-length dive towards his right and collected the ball with one hand leaving every spectator and the commentator’s shell shocked.

The Quinton de Kock stunned provided a much-needed breakthrough as Josh Inglis was showing signs of taking the game away. The opener couldn’t finish the job as Southern Brave sealed a crucial win.
Quinton de Kock scored 27 off just 14 balls
Earlier in the day, Quinton de Kock had produced a breathtaking knock with the bat. He scored a quickfire 27 to give Southern Brave a fiery start. Although he got out, Alex Davies and Devon Conway chipped in crucial contributions to propel the Braves to 145 runs in 100 balls.
In reply, Adam Rossington and Josh Inglis produced a swashbuckling start adding 68 runs for the first wicket. But George Carton brought Southern Braves back in the hut before Chris Jordan picked some crucial wickets to take the game away from London Spirit.
The Spirits continue to languish at the bottom of the table while Southern Braves are at fifth with two wins from four outings.
