India vs New Zealand 2021: Ravichandran Ashwin Reacts To Wasim Jaffer’s Banter On His Economical Bowling

Since his comeback to T20 cricket Ravichandran Ashwin has been bowling miserly. He bowled two economical spells ( 2/23 (4) and 1/19 (4)) in the first two T20I against New Zealand. India won both the games and are leading the series 2-0. The final game will be played in Kolkata on Sunday.

Meanwhile, former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer has taken a funny stance on his bowling figures in the first two games. Wasim Jaffer, however, went about congratulating the team’s brilliant performance in the ongoing T20I series against the Kiwis in a rather unusual yet quirky and unique manner, which complements his sense of humour perfectly.

He shared a tweet that perfectly summed up his sense of humour. Jaffer is very active on social media and his tweets more often than not goes viral. In this case, he tweeted “Recently @ashwinravi99 invited me for a cheeseburger and served this So I’m not surprised at all with how economical he has lately been #INDvNZ”

The Indian off-spinner who himself is active too on social media responded to Jaffer’s banter asap. He responded by saying ” “Wasim bhai” accompanied by three laughing emojis and a folded hands emoji implying a gesture of his joke being too funny.
