Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders are facing each other at Wankhede stadium in the 41st match of the ongoing season of Indian Premier League. Both the teams are placed at the lower half in the points table and are desperately looking for a win in this match.

Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and decided to field first. After a long wait on the bench, Chetan Sakariya finally got the chance in the playing XI of Delhi Capitals. Sakariya is making his debut for Delhi Franchise in IPL.

Chetan Sakariya didn’t disappoint anybody and took the wicket of Aaron Finch in first over itself. Aaron Finch usually struggles against Left arm pacers and the same story is repeated here. Finch tried to slog him but couldn’t make a connection and got clean bowled by Chetan Sakariya.

Chetan Sakariya was very delighted after taking the wicket and did a unique celebration which caught the attention of many cricket fans. Sakariya celebrated the wicket with a Dragon Ball Z celebration. After this, he made a cross with both hands and then showed a gesture like pointing a gun towards his forehead.

Khaleel pulls his hamstring, Mitchell Marsh back in playing XI

Earlier in the match , Delhi Capitals made two changes to their playing XI. Chetan Sakariya replaced Khaleel Ahmed who pulled his hamstring before the Match. Mitchell Marsh was also back in the playing XI of Delhi Capitals after recovering from COVID.

“The wicket looks on the drier side and dew might come in the latter half. Our strength has been backing each other. We have had hard times, but we stick together and move forward together,”  said DC captain Rishabh Pant at the toss.
