Recently, Chopra sat down to pick his current best ODI XI. He made surprising picks including leaving out Pakistan’s Babar Azam, who is arguably one of the modern-day greats.

Aakash has been in the news with his sharp analysis of the game. He has carved a niche for himself for calling spade a spade. Recently, Aakash Chopra came out with his ODI XI among the current generation. Surprisingly, he left out Babar Azam from the playing XI, who is among the top 5 ODI batsmen.

The cricketer from Delhi picked Indi’s Rohit Sharma and West Indies wicket-keeper Shai Hope to open the innings followed by the talismanic Virat Kohli. While Rohit and Kohli have taken the art of batsmanship to a new level, Hope has been doing the job away from all the attraction.
