Aakash Chopra has suggested that T. Natarajan should play ahead of Navdeep Saini who has so far struggled in the ODI series. Tomorrow at Canberra India will take on Australia in the 3rd ODI where they will be aiming to avoid a whitewash. The hosts have already wrapped up the series and will be looking to continue their winning momentum ahead of the T20I series.

It appears that team India will make a few changes and will give a chance to players who so far hasn’t featured in the series. Acclaimed commentator Aakash Chopra wants team India to make 2 crucial changes in the bowling department for the final ODI.

Aakash Chopra advises T. Natrajan in place of Navdeep Saini for final ODI

Chopra stated that T. Natarajan can be picked ahead of Saini whereas Kuldeep Yadav too can be given an opportunity in place of Yuzvendra Chahal. He further added that if Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami doesn’t have any injury concerns they should play in the final ODI.

Aakash Chopra said, “In the bowling, you can surely play T Natarajan in place of Navdeep Saini and you can try to play Kuldeep Yadav instead of Chahal. That’s about it”.

“If Bumrah and Shami are both fit and do not have any niggle, they are absolutely fine to play, please play them and don’t change anything else”, Chopra said on his YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, it is almost certain that T. Natarajan will make his ODI debut against Australia at Canberra. The left-arm seamer impressed everyone with his performances in IPL 2020 while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was added in the ODI squad as a cover for Saini after he complained of a back spasm after the first ODI.

Interestingly, Chopra reckons team India should not make any changes to their batting line-up. That means Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal will again open instead of trying somebody like a Shubman Gill at the top. Also, Manish Pandey will again warm the bench as KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya have scored runs in the ODI series.
