Former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja has been fined rupees 5000 for dumping garbage in his neighboring Village in North Goa. Ajay owns an expensive bungalow in the Aldona village in North Goa. Also, the village is home to several big celebrities.
Jadeja has a very good run in international cricket, although he failed in Test cricket scoring over 500 runs in 15 matches his ODI career was very good. We Found A Bill In The Name Of Ajay Jadeja In Some Bags Of Garbage: Sarpanch
The Nochinola village in North Goa is plagued by the problem of garbage in the village. They always try to track the source of the garbage but have miserably failed. The Goa panchayat is also under the eye of the high court for failing to control pollution in the village.
When the volunteers attempted to establish the source of garbage, they found out a shocking name in the bill which was Ajay Jadeja. It was reported that Ajay Jadeja had been dumping garbage from his bungalow into the village of Nachinola. Meanwhile, this news was confirmed by the sarpanch of the village, Trupti Bandodkar
“We are plagued by the garbage issue in our village. The garbage from outside is also dumped in the village, so we appointed some youth to collect the garbage bags and scan them for any proof to identify the culprits,” the sarpanch said.
The sarpanch also stated that Ajay Jadeja paid the fine without any hesitation.
“We found a bill in the name of Ajay Jadeja in some bags of garbage. When we informed him not to dump the garbage in the village in the future, he said he was willing to pay the fine. So he paid it. We are proud that such a celebrity, a popular cricket player, stays in our village, but such people should follow the garbage norms,” Bandodkar said.
