Team India will face Asian Champions Sri Lanka in a three-match T20I and the same number of ODI matches starting on 3 January 2023 onwards.

It promises to be an exciting battle as Hardik Pandya will lead a young Indian side in the absence of Rohit Sharma. The T20I squad comprises IPL performers who would be eager to perform as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul has not been included in the squad.

The Sri Lankan team will be led by Dasun Shanaka and would be hoping to give a fight to the Indian team in T20I and ODI series.

Sri Lanka stunned the Indian team in Asia Cup 2022 and would be looking to do the same in the series against India.

The three teams will then meet each other in 3 ODI matches starting on 10^th January. Rohit Sharma will lead the side after recovering from thumb injury. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul will be making a comeback into the ODI squad along with Mohammed Shami.
