Both players exchange singles as they guide balls down the leg side.

However, Virat Kohli returns to the team after sitting out the recent ODI series against West Indies. Expected to be a vital contributor in the batting lineup, Kohli might fill the number four position, a role the team has struggled to solidify. With the World Cup on the horizon and similar playing conditions, Kohli aims to carry his exceptional form into the marquee event.
This year, Kohli has amassed 427 runs in 10 ODIs at an average of 53.37, including two centuries and a fifty. His highest score, 166, came against Sri Lanka. Across 17 matches in various formats, he scored 984 runs in 19 innings with an average of 54.66, featuring four centuries and two fifties. His top score was 186 against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
During IPL 2023, Kohli performed well, securing the fourth-highest run total. Despite Royal Challengers Bangalore missing the playoffs, he scored 639 runs in 14 innings with an average of 53.25 and a strike rate of 139.25, including two centuries and six fifties.
Ravindra Jadeja, anticipated to lead the team’s all-round contributions with Hardik Pandya, holds significance both in batting and bowling. His spin, alongside Kuldeep Yadav, will play a crucial role for Team India.
