His best bowling performance has been in the match against Sydney Sixers played on 31st December, 2015, at Adelaide Oval, in which he picked up 3 wickets giving away 34 runs in his 4-over spell. He was a tad expensive, giving away 8.50 runs per over.

Rashid accounted for the skipper of Sydney Sixers, Nicholas Maddinson (0), Jordan Silk (3) and Ryan Carters (0).

Rashid’s performance restricted Sydney Sixers to 176 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted quota of 20 overs.

A great batting performance by Travis Head of Adelaide Strikers ensured that they capitalised on the advantage provided by the bowlers and go on to win the game. His 53-ball 101 runs with 4 fours and 9 sixes virtually sealed the game in their favour.

Adelaide Strikers won the game by 5 wickets with 3 deliveries to spare.

Adil Rashid is closely followed by Andre Russell of Sydney Thunder who has picked up 11 wickets from 6 games.

Sitting on the top of the Points Table with 10 points Adelaide strikers are very much into the knock-out rounds. Rashid, with few more games to go, has the opportunity to increase the lead and finish the tournament at the top of the ‘wicket-takers’ table.
