The BBL 2021-22 season is well and truly running Melbourne Renegades and Adelaide Strikers playing the third game of the season. This game turned out to be a close one with Melbourne winning it by two runs. It all came down to some good fielding effort by their fielders.
One of such efforts on the field was from Fraser-McGurk who took a one-handed stunner to dismiss Adelaide Strikers opener Jake Weatherald. He was dismissed by Afghanistan spinner Zahir Khan and McGurk took the catch down the square leg boundary line.
He timed his jump to perfection to a well-timed shot from Weatherald. The celebration from Zahir was one to watch out for after he got the wicket.

Adelaide Strikers fell just two short of their target of 154 as they ended on 151/8. Zahir Khan picked three wickets and Will Sutherland two.
Batting first, The Renegades scored 153/9 in their 20 overs with Mackenzie Harvey scoring 56. Lack of contributions from the lower-order meant that the Renegades were well below par from where they would have wanted to end.
For the Strikers, Rashid Khan picked just one wicket giving away 30 runs. Skipper Peter Siddle took two wickets with Daniel Worrall and George Garton picking two each.
“Today was my day. The captain and Nabi supported me in the ground, very happy with my performance. I am enjoying (being a Renegade). The coaching staff and managing staff are very good, they are always supporting the young players.” said Afghan spin sensation Zahir Khan who also won the Man of The Match.
