The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the schedule for Team India’s tour of the West Indies, on Monday, June 12 through Twitter. The upcoming series is all set to kick off on July 12 in Dominica, with two Test matches. The tour will witness ten matches across formats, over the course of a month.

Selectors keen to give chance to youngsters on West Indies tour

Ruturaj Gaikwad

Team India is likely to rest Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for the tour of West Indies. In their absence, the young blood of Indian cricket will get a chance to prove their mettle. The likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Mukesh Kumar, and Rajat Patidar are likely to get an opportunity on the tour.

Team India last toured West Indies for all formats in 2019. They emerged as winners in all three formats.
