BCCI appoints new fielding coach for Indian Women’s team

BCCI has appointed a fresh set of coaches for Women’s team ahead of upcoming Women’s world Cup starting in England next month. Kerala Coach Biju George has been appointed as fielding coach of Indian women’s team.

Tushar Arothe is appointed as the main coach. Trupti Bhattacharya will take up the role of manager while Aarti Nalge is video analyst. Tracy Fernandes has been given the job of physio while Radha Krishnaswamy has been named trainer while Rashmi Pawar is the Masseuse.

The Indian team’s prepatory camp commences in Mumbai on 6 June. Team India will leave for England on 11 June and will play a practice game against England XI at Loughborough MCC University.
