IPL 2020 this year was a platform for the uncapped players. From Devudtt Padikkal to Ruturaj Gaikwad to Natarajan to Chakravarty all grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Two of these players even got themselves selected in the Indian T20I squad. Varun Chakravarty made it through to the Indian T20I squad but an, unfortunately, shoulder injury saw him ruled out of the squad. Natarajan was selected in his place and will travel with the Indian squad to Australia. Meanwhile, we look at the best uncapped XI from IPL 2020.
Best Uncapped XI of IPL 2020
Devdutt Padikkal
Playing his first season for RCB, Padikkal ended up as the highest run-getter for them in the season. He ended with 473 runs with five fifties at a strike rate of nearly 125 and an average above 30. In another disappointing season for Virat Kohli’s men, Padikkal was their biggest plus.
