Mumbai Indians (MI) had a terrible campaign in IPL 2022, finishing last in the points table. However, the cricketers were seen backing each other, including skipper Rohit Sharma, whose sweet gesture for teammate Ramandeep Singh won hearts.
In a recent video shared by the Mumbai franchise, the cricketers were seen bidding goodbyes to each other as they left for their homes. However, what caught the attention of fans was Rohit Sharma’s sweet gesture for all-rounder Ramandeep Singh.
In the video, Rohit asks Ramandeep to stay in touch and call him for any help. The Mumbai captain was heard saying, “Take care buddy. Call me if you need any help.”

Speaking of the tournament, the five-time IPL champions didn’t get their combinations right throughout the tournament. Rohit Sharma also made some surprising calls. He dropped Tim David after a couple of failures and didn’t use his best pacer Jasprit Bumrah with the new ball in most games initially.
Mumbai Indians managed to only four games this season, which is by far their worst campaign in the history of the tournament. They will hope to bounce back next season.
Rohit Sharma shares a glimpse of his Maldives vacation
The Mumbai Indians skipper is currently holidaying in the Maldives following the team’s elimination from the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2022). Rohit Sharma took to his social media accounts earlier today to share an adorable picture with his wife Ritika Sajdeh from their trip.
Rohit Sharma appeared to be enjoying himself in the company of his better half and also wrote a sweet caption for her. The 35-year-old captioned the post, “This is all I need for the next few days…. ❤️🐠🐬🐳 #DiscoverSoneva #ExperienceSoneva #SonevaJani@discoversoneva.”
