Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) reached the playoffs of the IPL 2022 after Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) in a crucial game. Royal Challengers Bangalore won their last must-win game against Gujarat Titans (GT). Virat Kohli played a crucial role in this win for RCB.

Royal Challengers Bangalore would be facing Lucknow Supergiants at Eden Gardens in the Eliminator of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. RCB had a practice session in Kolkata on 23rd May. As usual, all the cameras were on Virat Kohli. Virat has always been the player who brings views.

However, in the practice session, an awkward moment took place. Virat was trying to wear his abdominal guard during the practice session. But the cameraman had their cameras ON towards Kohli. Virat requested some privacy from the cameraman and asked him to shift the focus to another location.

However, the cameraman didn’t listen to Virat. The former RCB skipper had to move away from that position and wore his abdominal guard. Royal Challengers Bangalore would be once again dependent on Virat for giving them a good start in the powerplay in the Eliminator match at Kolkata.

Earlier in the season, Virat registered three golden ducks and has struggled to get going in IPL 2022. But in the last game, Virat Kohli returned back to form after his brilliant knock of 73 runs in 54 balls against Gujarat Titans in a must-win game for RCB. Kohli would look to continue his excellent form against Lucknow too. 

After his brilliant knock, Virat said, “I can keep going. It was an important game. I was disappointed that I haven’t done much for my team and that is what bothers me, not the stats. Today was a game where I was able to create an impact for the team. Puts us in a good position. There are expectations because of the performances that you have put in.”
