Chennai Super Kings appoints this former South African cricketer as their bowling consultant

There was no one more consistent than CSK in the first eight years of the Indian Premier League, as the side from southern city reached the final on six occasions and took away the title in 2010 and 2011.

After two years away from the limelight, the CSK is back with a bang, led by MS Dhoni and the coach Damien Fleming the team has arranged a finely balanced squad from this year”s auction.

They come back has been made special by the response from the fans around India and especially in Chennai. This has also been coupled with various brands & companies joining the franchisees for financial support and a marketing strategy.

Even MS Dhoni expressed in the past two years from time to time that his heart was always with the Chennai Super Kings even when he was playing for the Rising Pune Super Giants during CSK”s two-year hiatus. The moment the team got back Dhoni widely congratulated the team and appreciated the fans for welcoming the team with open arms and warmth from heart once again.

CSK have made another signing ahead of the IPL season, as they have decided to appoint Eric Simmons as their bowling consultant.

Eric has been involved with various IPL franchisees and t20 teams around the world. He was also part of Indian Cricket team as a bowling coach in the past.

CSK will be more than hoping that now that they have a squad which is strong and well balanced. And of course with the great leader in MS Dhoni with a proven CSK record and helped by such a professional coaching group will bring new glories in the CSK”s history.
