CPL 2021: Kamath Memorial Cricket Club Girls Emerge Champions In Under-19 Girls Category

The Kamath Memorial Cricket Club’s girls have emerged victorious over the Bhosale Cricket Academy in the finals of the under-19 girls’ category of the Cricfit Premier League (CPL). The final being played at the Thakur Cricket Ground in Kandivali saw Bhosale Cricket Academy sink under pressure in the chase of 137 as they were bundled out for 75 losing the match by a considerable margin of 61 runs.

It all started when Kamath Memorial Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first after which they managed to put up 136 runs on the board at the end of 20 overs. It was Tanisha Gaikwad and Sharvi Save who notched up a 40 run partnership after losing Pranjal Gurav, Shraddha Shetty and Riya Salunkhe in just under 10 overs. It was Sharvi Save who remained not out on 48 who played a crucial role in helping her side reach a competitive total.

Bhosale Cricket Academy sink under pressure in CPL

In the aftermath, Bhosale Cricket Academy sank under pressure resulting in them getting bundled out for just 75 ending Bhosale Cricket Academy’s winning spree after their under-12 and under-14 sides emerged as the champions in their respective category.

Akshi Gaurav led the charge with the ball for Kamath Memorial Cricket Club as her spell of 4 overs saw just 7 runs being scored.
