The International cricket schedule has been announced for the South African team. The country will host three countries Zimbabwe, Pakistan and Srilanka later this year.

South Africa, who had a memorable test tour against India and Australia will look to make the full use of their opportunities to tick their boxes across all the departments in these tours.

13 ODI”s, 9 T20″s and five tests are a part of this tour and it will be interesting to see how these teams will give a tough fight to the safaris.

All the visiting teams had nightmares in the form of Rabada and Philander as they ended up registering many 5-wicket hauls over the past few years. Zimbabwe will also play a T20 series in coming June against Australia and Pakistan at home.

“We are pleased to announce the complete schedule of international cricket for our home season,” said Thabang Moroe, the CSA Acting Chief Executive.

“It is going to be a very busy period and a very big one for our Standard Bank Proteas who will be using the programme of 13 ODIs against three different opponents in addition to the away tours to fine-tune their preparations for the 2019 ICC World Cup to be played in England and Wales commencing on 30 May next year,” CSA Acting Chief Executive.

Sri Lanka had a forgettable tour a year ago when they were whitewashed in the ODI series 5-0. This tour will play an important role in the life of seniors AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis who might play their last world cup at England next year.
