England cricketer Danielle Wyatt enjoys a massive fan following in India. Ever since her tweet for Virat Kohli went viral on social media, the batter has been a household name in India. Recently Danielle Wyatt revealed the name of the IPL team she would like to play for.
Apart from touring India with the England side, Wyatt has been a regular feature in the Challenger Trophy – a women IPL. She has entertained the fans to her potential with some swashbuckling knocks in the competition in the last couple of years.

Meanwhile, during a chat with Cricket.com, Danielle Wyatt spoke on a wide range of topics. Meanwhile, on asked to pick one IPL team she would like to be a part of, Wyatt unsurprisingly picked Royal Challengers Bangalore. Notably, she shares a great bond with a number of Bangalore cricketers.
“I don’t mind any team, really. But I support Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) because they have/had Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, Moeen Ali, Yuzvendra Chahal and AB de Villiers. So, RCB would be cool, I’d like to play for them,” she said.
Moreover, Danielle Wyatt also revealed her equation with Arjun and Sachin Tendulkar. She said with each day, Arjun is getting tougher to bat in the nets with his pace going up consistently. Meanwhile, the junior Tendulkar; an all-rounder has already impressed in his short career.
“Since then whenever I bump into Sachin or Arjun or whenever they come to Lord’s to train, I go to the nets and ask him (Arjun) to bowl with the new ball to me. But he is getting very quick now. He always says I will bounce you and knock your head off so I don’t like him bowling to me anymore. He is getting too dangerous to face,” Wyatt said.
