Delhi Capitals will look for fresh start – Rabada
Kagiso Rabada, who has been a part of the Delhi franchise since a while feels that last year they were close to winning the title. He also thinks that the Delhi players shouldn’t live in the past and should look for a new beginning this year.
“We had a really good season in 2019, so I know that we can challenge and win this competition because we came really close last season, so mentally I guess that helps. The South African bowler feels that the Delhi side to bank on some early performances early on in the tournament. Since it’s going to be a fresh start for the franchise in the new normal. He’s all geared up and also at the same time looking to bond with the new mates in the side.
“We have to start again and start the whole process, so hopefully we can get off to a good start but win at the end of the season — we want to be the most consistent team and win at times when we really, really need to win, It feels good to be running in and to be with some teammates as well.
It is, of course, some old teammates and some new ones,” said Rabada on his first training session with the franchise.
