India’s spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is celebrating his 31st Birthday today, i.e July 23. Birthday wishes started pouring for the leggie on social media from his fans and teammates. On this special occasion his wife, Dhanashree Verma shared a couple of pictures and penned down a heartfelt post for her husband Yuzvendra Chahal.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote:
“When you talk about being humble, being kind, helpful, being polite, selfless and to carry those qualities along with some serious skills then that’s Mr. Yuzvendra Chahal ❤️ You have no airs about your status and that’s not easy to achieve at this level.
What you do for the people and for the country is unbeatable. You have a big heart. I have grown and learnt a lot from you… I’m always extremely proud of you @yuzi_chahal23 Happy birthday ❤️”

Yuzvendra Chahal was overwhelmed reading the post and thanked Dhanashree Verma in the comments section. “Thank you wifey,” he wrote.
Dhanashree Verma is a doctor by profession. She is also a choreographer and a Youtuber. The couple tied the knot on 22 December 2020 in Gurgaon in a private ceremony.
Yuzvendra Chahal rested in the 3rd ODI
Yuzvendra Chahal is currently part of the Shikhar Dhawan-led Indian team in Sri Lanka. After a brilliant start to his international career, Chahal faltered his way in the middle. He has struggled to be a regular feature on the Indian side for the last year or so. However, in the ongoing limited-overs series against Sri Lanka, Chahal has made a fine comeback.
He is the leading wicket-taker in ODIs with five wickets in two matches so far. With the T20 World Cup in sight, Chahal will be keen to turn things around and book a place in India’s T20 World Cup squad.
