T20 WC 2022 is going to be played in the months of October and November this year in Australia. It’s going to be a mega event with lots of expectations from the Indian team. Coach Rahul Dravid would look to find the perfect team combination before T20 WC 2022.

Several cricket fans are confused about what can be the team combination of the Indian team for the T20 WC because main Indian players haven’t played together since a long time in T20I. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly revealed that coach Rahul Dravid is planning to play the full strength T20I team from the next T20I series against England.

In an interview with Times of India, Ganguly said: “Rahul Dravid (Team India head coach) is looking into it. He has been planning to play a settled set of players at some stage. Probably from the England tour next month, we will start playing with players who are likely to play in the T20 World Cup in October.”

Ganguly also gave crucial advice to Indian Youngsters to keep their eyes on performance , not on money. Sourav said: “From Sunil Gavaskar to Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid, the money was nothing compared to what the players are getting now. However, they all had a strong desire to perform.”

“Bilateral tours will continue“- BCCI President talks about future of Bilateral series

Recently IPL broadcasting rights created massive records. Ganguly revealed that the Indian Premier League generates more revenue than the English Premier League. The BCCI President also talked about the future of Bilateral tours and how it helps other countries to generate revenue.

“Bilateral tours will continue. The IPL is an Indian tournament. Bilateral tours are for the rest of the world to generate revenue. Players from other countries need bilateral series. For the next two years, IPL will continue to have 74 matches. The next Future Tours Programme (FTP) cycle will have to be carefully worked out.”, Sourav Ganguly added.
