Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra has made some big predictions ahead of the fifth and final Test between India and England, scheduled to commence on Friday at the Old Trafford in Manchester. Currently, the visitors lead the series 2-1 and would be keen to retain the Pataudi Trophy.
In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra predicted that India captain Virat Kohli will play a big knock at the Old Trafford. So far, Kohli has accumulated only 218 runs at an average of 31.14 from four games. He has got starts on most occasions but failed to convert those.
However, Aakash Chopra believes the talismanic run-scorer will put an end to his run drought while Chris Woakes will be the highest wicket-taker for England.
“Virat Kohli to be the highest scorer. He will make the most runs for India in this encounter. Chris Woakes to be the highest wicket-taker for England. So Kohli for India and Woakes for England, that is what I believe,” Aakash Chopra said.

The cricketer-turned-commentator hopes Virat Kohli loses the toss for the fifth and final Test between India and England at Old Trafford. Kohli has won only one of the four tosses in the series thus far.
“I would say Virat Kohli should lose the toss again. We definitely win the match when Kohli loses the toss. Everything will be sorted if Kohli loses the toss. But if Joe Root wins the toss, England will be stuck. Whenever they bowl first, they lose the match, whether it was Lord’s or Oval,” Aakash Chopra said.Â
