Former Australian spinner Shane Warne has opined on the possibilities of the second Test between England and India at Lord’s. All three results are possible in the fifth day’s play. India ended day four on 181/6 with a lead of 154 on the board. The Indian tailenders along with Rishabh Pant would like to get as many as possible before getting bowled out on the final day.

Meanwhile, Shane Warne in a couple of tweets have pinpointed a few aspects of the game, particularly from an Indian perspective. He first lauded Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane for their 100-run stand while saying India alteast needs 250 runs to challenge England on the final day.

His second tweet was about the Indian team playing with just one spinner. Moeen Ali got the ball to spin and turn off the surface quite a bit in the final session on day three. Seeing the same, Warne highlighted the importance of a spinner in an overseas Test match. India only have Ravindra Jadeja in the playing XI while they opted to drop Ravichandran Ashwin from the line-up.

Rishabh Pant holds the key on the final day of the Test match for India. How many runs he gets in the first session is very well going to decide where the Test match is heading.
