Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly is at Lord’s at the moment watching the proceedings of the second Test between India and England. After playing international cricket for nearly 15 years, Ganguly is now the BCCI President and is back at a venue where he has tasted rich success in international cricket. As per reports, Ganguly and Jay Shah are in England to talk about the future of Ravi Shastri.

Meanwhile, after he reached Lord’s, Sourav Ganguly took to Instagram and shared an emotional message on Instagram. He spoke about his days as a player playing at this venue and the success he has at this venue. He scored a century in the very first that he played for India in 1996. In 2002, he won the Natwest Trophy by beating England in the final The Natwet win remains Ganguly’s greatest win as Indian skipper.

Sourav Ganguly To Discuss Ravi Shastri’s Future

After having a successful international career, Sourav Ganguly is now the BCCI President having been appointed for the post in 2019. Meanwhile, a BCCI official briefed the press about the purpose of Ganguly’s visit to England. 

 “Too early to talk about this, but as you are aware the president, secretary, treasurer, and vice-president are landing in London today. So they will interact with Shastri and the team and discuss various things around the tour and future of Indian cricket. If there is much to the topic of Shastri not looking to continue, it will surely be discussed over the course of the Lord’s Test. But I would still say too early,” the source said as reported by Insidesport.
