The cricketers were treated with a funny incident when an English fan wearing an Indian jersey invaded the Lord’s Stadium during day 3 of the 2nd Test between India and England in London. The hosts are currently in the driver’s seat; trialing by only 84 runs in reply to India’s 364 runs in the first innings of the match.
In a video that surfaced on Twitter, an English fan named “Jarvo” wearing India’s jersey was seen inside the Lord’s Cricket Ground before being caught by security. The fan was also seen trying to indicate to the security that he was one of the Team India cricketers. The incident took place after the lunch.

He was later forced out of the ground by the security guards before India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj burst into laughter.
Meanwhile, former India cricketer and popular commentator Aakash Chopra raised concerns about the lapse of security in these COVID-19 times. Taking to microblogging site Twitter, Chopra wrote:
“Deeply concerning. More so in the COVID times. How was this allowed to happen??”

Continuing his sensational run against India, Joe Root scored yet another Test hundred in the 2nd Test at Lord’s. He paced his innings to perfection to keep the potent Indian bowlers at bay. Subsequently, Root scripted his name at the Lord’s honours board as the home crowd went berserk.
The England skipper became the player with the most hundreds against India in Test matches. This was his seventh hundred in thirty-nine innings. The England skipper crossed the 9000 runs mark in Test cricket and became the second England player to achieve this feat. He is also the second youngest after Alastair Cook to score 9000 Test runs.
