The England cricket team had a disastrous outing against India on Day 1 of the first test match at Trent Bridge. They were bowled out for a mere 183 in the first innings. But what grabbed the attention at Trent Bridge, Nottingham was a look-alike of Jonny Bairstow.
The fans spotted a duplicate of Jonny Bairstow in the stands. The spectator was also sporting a brown beard and hair just like the English right-handed batsman. The picture went in no time getting the social media was flooded with memes.

England batting line-up collapses on Day 1
England won the toss and opted to bat first. India’s pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah gave his team an early breakthrough as he dismissed Rory Burns for a duck in the very first over of the match. He set up Burns with three consecutive out-swingers and then an inswinger, which rapped the openers on his pads and was adjudged lbw. Dominic Sibley and Zak Crawley too got out in quick succession.
England skipper Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow tried to steady the ship and added 72 runs together. But a sharp in-cutter Mohammed Shami got rid of Bairstow to end his stay at the crease. The English batting line-up crumbled thereafter. All-rounder Sam Curran scored a quick 37-ball 27, including four boundaries and a six, to take the England score to 183.

For India, all the bowlers took wickets except Ravindra Jadeja, who did not bowl much as the pacers were wreaking havoc. Jasprit Bumrah took a four-wicket haul, while Mohammad Shami picked up three wickets. Shardul Thakur, who replaced Ravichandran Ashwin in the squad, bagged two wickets, including the crucial one of captain Joe Root.
India will resume the play on Day 2 at 21 for no loss with both the openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul not out overnight.
