Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and current Australian all-rounder Cameron Green recently announced his engagement to Emily Redwood. He shared the happy news with his fans through an Instagram post on Sunday (February 16). Emily is a dietitian and a PhD student. Meanwhile, Green remains sidelined from cricket due to injury.
The all-rounder sustained a stress fracture in his lower back during Australia’s tour of England in September last year. Following this, he opted for surgery, ruling him out of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) and the upcoming IPL 2025.
Due to his unavailability for the season, RCB management confirmed that they did not retain him ahead of the IPL 2025 mega-auction. Recently, Cameron Green took to Instagram to share an update on his personal life, posting pictures with his fiancée, Emily Redwood, showcasing their engagement ring. His caption read:
“Love this girl!! (forever)”

Aaron Finch backs Green or Inglis to Replace Labuschagne in WTC 2025 Final
Australia is gearing up to face South Africa in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 final at Lord’s this June. Former captain Aaron Finch voiced concerns over Marnus Labuschagne’s recent dip in form and suggested that the team management consider replacing him with either Cameron Green or Josh Inglis for the crucial match.
“I’ve gone with Cameron Green or Josh Inglis. They’re at No. 3. And the reason is, I just think that [Labuschagne’s form] is such a concern because it’s been over four series. If it’s over two or three, I think that you can say, you know what, he’s just around the corner. But the fact that it’s been four, to me, that’s a really alarming sign,” Finch said on ESPN’s Around the Wicket podcast.”
He further continued:
“Josh Inglis, I think to get him into the side, he will get that opportunity. Or if Cameron Green is healthy, he just provides so much extra to that bowling line-up as well as with the batting. He’s got the ability to bat anywhere in the order.”
