Me And Faf Du Plessis Complement Each Other Well: Shane Watson
The man of the match of today’s game was Shane Watson for his fantastic knock of 83 runs off 53 deliveries. At the post-match presentation, Watson said that he felt slightly off when the season began but he’s come out strong in-game as he batting with little more intent today.
“Nice to bat like that tonight. Felt something slightly off earlier in the tournament, technical thing. Bit more intent on the front leg, getting my weight through the ball. We complement each other well,” Shane Watson said.
The former Australia all-rounder further went on to talk about batting with Faf Du Plessis, how he’s a great guy with so much experience and is definitely looking to more good things with his batting partner in this season.
“He’s a great guy, love batting with him. With so much experience and success the franchise’s had, they believe in the players. Never any panic stations with CSK. Just had to do a few things better,” Shane Watson added.
