Fans React As RCB Bowl Out PBKS And Reach IPL 2025 Final

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowlers put on a stellar show in the high-stakes IPL 2025 Qualifier 1 against Punjab Kings (PBKS), held at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh, on Thursday, May 29.

RCB captain Rajat Patidar opted to bat first after winning the toss. In response, Punjab’s batting lineup crumbled under pressure as Bengaluru’s bowlers dominated the game from the outset. It was a collective bowling masterclass, with each player contributing effectively.

Josh Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma led the attack with three wickets each, while Yash Dayal added two more. Romario Shepherd and Bhuvneshwar Kumar chipped in with one wicket each, as PBKS were dismissed for a mere 101.

The outstanding bowling display drew widespread praise from fans across social media. Marcus Stoinis was the only PBKS batter to score more than 20 runs in the match. He stood out as the sole fighter, scoring 26 runs off 17 balls during a major batting collapse.

Here are some fans reaction:

Suyash Sharma credits hard work for deadly googlies in PBKS vs RCB IPL Qualifier

Suyash Sharma dominated the game with his impressive bowling performance in Qualifier 1. The leg spinner began his spell in the ninth over and quickly made an impact. He started by dismissing the dangerous Shashank Singh and debutant Musheer Khan in his very first over.

He went on to take the wicket of Marcus Stoinis as well, ending with excellent figures of 3 overs, 17 runs, and 3 wickets. During a mid-innings interview, Suyash shared his thoughts on his bowling display:

“Whatever plan was given to us from coaches, we executed that very well. Felt really good bowling today. I was able to get the googlies well today. Talk was, this is a semi-finals game, but we don’t have to treat that way, just treat it like a normal match. Worked hard for the googlies to come out like that.”
