Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star Virat Kohli was seen playing football before the team’s IPL 2025 match against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium on Friday, May 23. While trying to kick the ball, Kohli missed and fell to the ground.
The clip quickly spread on social media. Fortunately, Kohli appeared unhurt as he got up right away and ran to retrieve the ball. He then picked it up near the boundary and kicked it high towards a teammate. You can watch the video here:

Kohli is set to play on Tuesday, May 27, when RCB faces Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their final league match. The game will be held at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. This match is very important for Bengaluru as they aim to secure a spot in the top two. Currently, they are third on the points table with 17 points from 13 matches.
Virat Kohli has been in excellent form this season, leading Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batting with 548 runs in 12 innings at a strike rate of 145.35.
Kohli and Anushka prayed at Ayodhya’s Hanuman Garhi Temple before LSG vs RCB IPL 2025
Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma recently paused their busy schedule to visit Hanuman Garhi Temple in Ayodhya. They prayed for Lord Hanuman’s blessings ahead of RCB’s next IPL 2025 game. You can watch the video here:

It’s worth noting that Anushka Sharma was present at RCB’s recent match against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH). Bengaluru lost by 42 runs, unable to chase the challenging target of 232. The team was bowled out for 189 following a batting collapse. Phil Salt top-scored with 62 runs off 32 balls, while Virat Kohli added 43 runs from 25 balls.
