AB de Villiers wins it for RCB in Super Over
Early on in the innings, it was an onslaught by Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch as they gave a perfect start to the innings. Followed by which it was the AB De Villiers show as his fifty helped RCB surpass the 200 run mark.
In the aftermath, Mumbai Indians had an unusual start as they lost both De Kock and Rohit Sharma early on in the innings. Things got worse as Surya Kumar Yadav was dismissed for a duck which was later followed by Hardik Pandya’s wicket.

“I have to do the job for my team. Happy to contribute and happy to play such a game. I wanted to contribute in any way and I was glad I did it and doing it against such a team like Mumbai was very good.
Washington Sundar further went on to praise Navdeep Saini’s temperament to bowl in the super over as he took his side across the finishing line giving just 7 runs in the super over.
I can’t say that and it’s better of Saini to bowl (when asked if he wanted to bowl the Super Over). He (Saini) did an amazing job to restrict them to 7 runs. This victory means a lot,” Washington Sundar added.
