Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Mumbai Indians in the Super Over in game 10 of IPL 2020 in Dubai on Monday. This was the second Super Over of the season. The pair of Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers chased down 8 required for victory to get their second win of the season. This happened after Ishan Kishan almost threatened to take the game away from them scoring a brilliant 99. Here is the full story of the RCB vs MI Match report.

Chasing 202 to win, MI had a bad start to their innings as Rohit Sharma was dismissed early by Washington Sundar for just 8. Then they lost Quinton de Kock (14) and Suryakumar Yadav (0) in quick succession.

Coming into bat at number four, Ishan Kishan scored his highest IPL score as he scored 99 off just 58 balls. He hit two fours and nine sixes in his innings and together with Kieron Pollard (60) added a partnership of 119.

With 18 need off the last over, RCB paver Isuru Udana took the match into a Super Over after Pollard finished the game with a four with five needed to win. This was the second of the season after the first between Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab.

Earlier in the game, Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to field first. Fifties from Aaron Finch ( 52), Devdutt Padikkal (54) and AB De Villiers (55) meant that RCB finished on a high scoring 201 for 3 in their 20 overs.

However, with dew setting in later in the RCB vs MI game, defending became a bit of an issue with Kishan and Pollard going all guns blazing. The duo hit some massive sixes especially in the last five overs of the chase to take the game into the Super Over.
