Hardik Pandya is having a tough time after India’s exit from the ICC T20 World Cup. From enjoying his vacation in the Maldives, his name has now got involved in a sex scandal with the wife of Dawood Ibrahim’s aide Riyaz Bhati. Bhati’s wife has complained of forcing her wife into having sex with some high-profile people. Within that, the names of Hardik and Munaf Patel along with former BCCI chairman Rajiv Shukla and one Prithviraj Kothari have cropped up.

Rehnuma Bhati alleged that her husband, Riyaz Bhati, a suspected gangster, pushed her to have sexual relations with his business associates and other “high-profile” individuals.

Though Rehnuma has actually not given any concrete address or spoken about the sequence of events to the police she has identified the names of Harik Pandya and Rajiv Shukla involved in this incident.

“I have been trying to get the police to register an FIR, but they aren’t complying. My application was submitted in September, it is already November now,” she said, adding: “I have followed up with various levels of police authorities multiple times. I was told to give some money, but why should I spread corruption? I am right in my place. They are the ones who are criminals.”

When asked to shed further light on the matter, Deputy Commissioner of Police for the jurisdiction, Manjunath Singhe, acknowledged that an application has been submitted, but said he “does not have any more details at the moment”.

In her application, Bhati’s wife has accused him of marital rape. She further said that he asked her to have sex with his close friends and relatives along with threatening to kill her children if she denied the same.

“I say that since the aforesaid opponent (Bhati) is absconding in an FIR and since his bail application has been rejected he is having a short of funds and he is not giving me a single penny on the contrary he is forcing me and giving me address to go and have sexual relationship so that he can generate money (sic)…” Rehnuma has said in her application.

“The aforesaid opponent has indulged me into the field of prostitution for more than 15 years. I say that if no action are going to be taken against him his lust for indulging me into the field of prostitution will not end,” she added.

Hardik Pandya Dropped From New Zealand Series

Hardik Pandya, meanwhile, has been drooped from the Indian T20I squad announced for the T20I series against New Zealand after below-par performances in the World Cup.
