Hardik Pandya Left ‘Speechless’ By ‘Inspirational’ Kieron Pollard Knock

Mumbai Indians all-rounder Hardik Pandya was left speechless by Kieron Pollard’s inspirational knock against Chennai Super Kings in match 27 of IPL 2021. Pollard’s unbeaten 87 helped Mumbai Indians beat their arch-rivals in the last ball thriller. His knock included six fours and eight sixes as the CSK bowlers took a pounding. After the game, Pollard said that big players have to take responsibility to win big matches for their team.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya after the game said that he was left speechless by the knock from Kieron Pollard.

“After winning this sort of a game you got to be pumped for the rest of the night I guess. When he (Pollard) does something like this you are genuinely speechless. “The best part was he has done it over the years again and again. Bloody… Fantastic. I mean I will say inspirational to watch someone do it consistently and on his day do something this amazing” Pandya said after the match on Star Sports.

He further said that the win has come just at the right time for the side. Mumbai Indians, who are generally late starters in the IPL have now won four of their first seven games. Hardik further said that the win against CSK just sets them right heading into the second half of the tournament.

Special Mention To Polly: Hardik Pandya

“I feel we have arrived at the right time of the tournament now. I feel for us this game was very important This momentum is going to help us do wonders I think. Again special mention to Polly, I am just very proud of him” said Pandya.

MI vs CSK encounters are called the El Classico of IPL and this game has proved just why. Both teams batted beautifully on a placid Delhi wicket. However, Pollard’s power was a bit too much for the CSK bowler’s liking. Jasprit Bumrah bowled his most expensive spell ever in the IP in this match. He went for 56 off his four. Though CSK took three quick wickets in the middle overs, Pollard turned the match on its head for the five-time champions.
