“Looking For A Third Umpire,” Hardik Pandya’s Wife Shares A Hilarious Story On Suryakumar Yadav’s Wife

The batsman from Mumbai – Suryakumar Yadav is having the best time of his career. He recently had an emphatic start to his international career during the T20I series against England last week. His wife Devisha Shetty was at the stadium with her husband to witness the memorable moment, but Hardik Pandya’s wife Natasha Stankovic uploaded a hilarious picture of her as Suryakumar was batting in the middle.

The Mumbai Indians batsman has been in the reckoning for a national selection for quite some time. He has been belting runs in the domestic circuit and IPL for quite some time now. Suryakumar Yadav was in line for a call-up for the tour of Australia after IPL 2020 but failed to make the cut. He finally got his due during the T20Is against England and made the opportunity count.

In his second match though, he got an opportunity to bat and he stamped his authority with a brilliant knock of 57 from just 31 balls. In the Instagram story shared by Natasa Stankovic, she took a picture of Devisha Shetty looking at the ground with a binocular. In that picture, Natasa had written that she is looking for the third umpire. Natasa hinted at the controversial dismissal of Suryakumar Yadav during the fourth T20I between India and England.

Incidentally, Suryakumar was batting well at 57 when he tried to scoop the ball and Dawid Malan took quite an awkward catch in the fine-leg region. The on-field umpire gave the soft signal as out and sent it for a review by the third umpire. However, the pictures shown on the replay suggested the ball might have touched the ground before Malan gathered it properly.

However, the images from the replay didn’t look conclusive to the third umpire. The umpire decided to stay with the original decision which was out. The incident also sparked a lot of debate around the soft signal. The match eventually was won by India.
