Harmanpreet Kaur, the skipper of the Mumbai Indians, is confident that the rush schedule has not taken a toll on the team’s performance. MI are all set to face Delhi Capitals for the grand finale of the Women’s Premier League 2025 at the Brabourne Stadium, with this being their fourth match in a little over a week. According to Harmanpreet, they have come to love this phase of intensity and are ready to move on.
Delhi, on the other hand, will return to the field after taking a break, having suffered a setback at the hands of the Gujarat Giants five wickets during March 7. Meaning that not only is her perspective about MI being in the decent embrace of women’s cricket but also that the momentum will not be disrupted by packed schedules. MI is therefore all to give it their all in the finale.
“Tomorrow is an important match”- Harmanpreet Kaur

Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur stated that the busy schedule has not affected his team. On Saturday, MI will be playing its fourth match in six days when it faces the Delhi Capitals for the final of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 at the Brabourne Stadium.
“I see it in a positive way. We know what area to bowl, how to bat and how to execute yourself in a better way and which overs to take care of without losing too many wickets.” Harmanpreet Kaur said.
“I know we played three games in four days, but we enjoyed all three matches and tomorrow is an important match and everybody is looking forward to that,” she added.
In the league stage, MI had previously lost both of their games to DC. However, MI will try to do the same on March 15 after defeating them in the WPL 2023 final.
