[WATCH] WPL’s Kashvee Gautam Experiences a Fan-Girl Moment with Hardik Pandya

Gujarat Giants player Kashvee Gautam had a fangirl moment while meeting Hardik Pandya after the exit of her team from the WPL 2025. The Giants were shown the door from the tournament after losing to the 2023 champions, Mumbai Indians, on Thursday, March 13. Hardik and MI men’s batting coach, Kieron Pollard, were at Brabourne Stadium to watch the game.

Kashvee also got a chance to meet Hardik after the game when Harleen Deol introduced her to the Indian men’s all-rounder. Upon seeing Hardik, Kashvee greeted him with “Hi, Sir,” to which he responded, “Hello.” “Big fan, Sir!” said Kashvee, to which Hardik replied, “Thank you.” He further asked, “Sab badhiya?” (All’s well?). “Jee haan, bahut badhiya,” was Kashvee’s answer.

Hardik then asked Kashvee, “Kaisa raha season?” to which Kashvee answered, “Bahut accha tha.” Harleen then shook hands with Hardik and said, “Ye bahut badi fan hain aapki, aapko imitate karti rehti hain.” Hardik then asked Kashvee, “You are also an all-rounder; do you bat too? Haan, batting bhi karti hoon, HP33 likhwaya hai bat pe.” (Yes, I also bat, and I have HP33 written on my bat.). Then Hardik asked about the bat she used, and Kashvee replied, “1100.” After hearing this, “Main shred karke bhejta hoon,” said Hardik, promising to send her the bat. This whole heartwarming conversation showed the typical humble and kind behavior of the Indian all-rounder.

Kashvee paid 2 crore rupees for the 2024 WPL auction Giants purchase, which made her the most expensive player in the tournament’s history. Although her team exited the tournament, the meeting with Hardik remained a lifetime experience for the young player.
