5. Robin Uthappa
After successful seasons for Kolkata Knight Riders, Robin Uthappa had a disappointing season for KKR in this year IPL. During the 2019 auction, the experienced Uthappa was bought by using the right to match card for RS 6.40 Crore. He could not live up to the expectations as he scored a total of 282 runs from 12 matches with a strike rate of 115.10. Due to poor performances, Uthappa was dropped for 2 matches.
In the do or die match against Mumbai Indians, Robin Uthappa struggled and scored 40 off 48 balls which led Kolkata Knight Riders to a modest total of 133 for 7. His best score in IPL 2019 was 67*.
He was one of the reasons due to which Kolkata Knight Riders were knocked in the league stage. In the middle phase, KKR lost six matches in succession.
