Spinners
Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav have done brilliantly for Team India in the middle overs since the Champions Trophy loss to Pakistan in 2017.
Chahal has performed reasonably well for Royal Challengers Bangalore in ongoing IPL. On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav has not picked many wickets for KKR. These two wrist spinners would play a key role in helping India picking wickets in middle overs and restricting opposition to low totals.
Both have done brilliantly in South Africa, England and New Zealand, troubled the batsmen with their variations. Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav playing their first World Cup would be eager to help Indian team win matches.
Ravindra Jadeja has been picked as the third back up spinner for the tournament. He can bowl stump and trouble the oppositions with his deliveries.
