The teams for the fourth season of Pakistan Super League are almost finalized for almost all the franchises. Several players were exchanged and few were retained by their respective owners.
None of the Bangladesh players received a contract for the upcoming season but few big fishes from big countries were bought by the franchises.
What deserves an attention here is the inclusion of AB de Villiers in the league. It is to be noted that AB de retired from the internationals a few months ago. However, AB added a smile on the faces of his fans as he ensured his availability across several T20 leagues in the world.
A few weeks ago, he was roped into BPL. Yesterday, AB de Villiers as bagged by Lahore Qalandars a squad which hasn”t created an impact in the three editions of PSL.
AB de Villiers was bought for a price of USD 2,00,000 Which literally accounts close to 1.7 crores. Being one of the vital cogs of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the cash-rich Indian Premier League he was paid an amount which is five times more than the amount he is going to earn from PSL. This shows the love that AB has towards the gentleman”s game and his passion for the same.

AB de Villiers now leads Tswhane Spartans side in the T20 Manzi league. Though his side is a bit shaky in the middle, he is making sure to come out on the top by the end of the season.
So, can AB de Villiers change the fortunes of ill-fated Lahore Qalandars? Only time will tell.
