Bollywood star Anushka Sharma recently opened up about her husband and former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli’s personality. She revealed that while Kohli may appear aggressive on the cricket field, off the field he is quite the opposite, remarkably calm and composed.
Anushka shared that Kohli is the calmest person she has ever known. The ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ actress also mentioned that she is often in awe of his serene nature. Her remarks came during a candid interview with Filmfare, where she offered a glimpse into the cricketer’s off-field demeanor.
“He’s one of the calmest persons I’ve met. Off the field, he’s so relaxed… He’s the most shaant person I know. I look at him and I’m like, ‘Wow! You’re so chill.”
In the conversation, Anushka reflected on how their hectic schedules kept them from spending much time together during the initial six months of their marriage. She shared:
“During the first six months of our marriage, we spent 21 or 22 days together… We were hardly together in Mumbai. In fact, the staff at home gets so happy whenever they see us together at home.”

In the same interview, Anushka Sharma shared that Virat Kohli continues to be her closest friend and most trusted companion. She highlighted that everything else fades away when they are together. Anushka Further added:
“I’m married to my best friend. I’m married to my confidant. I’m married to someone I love so dearly just because of the human being that he is. When we’re together, the world ceases to exist,” she adds, emphasizing the depth of their connection.”
In terms of cricket, Virat Kohli is currently representing Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the ongoing IPL 2025 season. The seasoned batter has been in impressive form, ranking as the second-highest run-scorer so far with 443 runs in 10 innings.
