Team India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has become a social media star and is using these platforms to the fullest during the prevailing lockdown in the wake of coronavirus pandemic. He recently shared a screenshot of a message from New Zealand opener Martin Guptill which has taken over the internet.
Meanwhile, India and Kiwi cricketers get along very well and share a mutual bond among themselves. Virat Kohli & Co was in New Zealand to play a bilateral series across the formats just before the spread of the COVID-19 which forced to call-off all the cricketing activities.
The hosts were the better side among the two, winning the ODI and Test series after India got off to a flyer registering a whitewash in the five-match T20 series. However, there was a hilarious incident on the field during the 2nd T20I which will remain with the Indian fans for a long time.
Yuzvendra Chahal was out with his famous ‘Chahal TV’ after India scripted a famous victory in the second game. He interviewed a few Indian cricketers before trying to have a chat with Martin Guptill but the 33-year-old hilariously called him “G**du” that left him in a split. The video went viral on social media gaining a lot of attention.
On Monday, Chahal shared a screenshot of his chat with the Kiwi opener on his Instagram story. In that snap, it can be seen that the Martin Guptill had sent a message, “How are you [email protected]&$u?.”
The Indian spinner took the screenshot of the same and shared it on his Instagram story through his official handle in which he wrote, “@martyguptill31 come again bro.”
