Currently, he leads the series with 237 runs from two innings, averaging 118.50 with a strike rate of 111.27. The former India captain began the series with a brilliant 135 off 120 balls in the first ODI at Ranchi, which included 11 fours and seven sixes.
He followed it up with another impressive performance in the second ODI at Raipur, scoring 102 off 93 deliveries in a 143-minute innings, featuring seven fours and two sixes. Team India will be counting on another big performance from their star batter in the series-deciding third ODI at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, December 6.
Kohli also boasts an outstanding record in Visakhapatnam ODIs. In seven matches at the venue, he has amassed 587 runs at an average of 97.83 and a strike rate of 100.34, including three centuries and two half-centuries.

Virat Kohli‘s highest ODI score in Visakhapatnam is an unbeaten 157 off 129 balls against West Indies in October 2018. His 217-minute innings included 13 fours and four sixes in a high-scoring match that ended in a tie. Batting first, India posted 321/6, while West Indies matched it with 321/7, thanks to Shai Hope’s 123* and Shimron Hetmyer’s 94 off 64 balls.
Earlier, Kohli scored a well-paced 118 off 121 balls against Australia on October 20, 2010. Chasing a challenging 290, the No. 3 batter guided India to a five-wicket victory, hitting 11 fours and a six in his 193-minute knock.
In December 2011, Kohli made 117 off 123 balls against West Indies in another successful chase in Visakhapatnam, featuring 14 boundaries as India chased 270 comfortably to win by five wickets. He also narrowly missed a century against the same team in November 2013, scoring 99 off 100 balls in a game that India lost by two wickets.
